Stay on the Marina, Walk to the City
Harbourside sits beside Nelson Marina, a 15 to 20 minute walk from the city centre. Follow the Maitai Riverside Walkway in for the Saturday market, galleries, shops, cafés and restaurants.
Closer to hand there's the marina itself: the boats, a stroll around the piers, and the Anchor Restaurant and Bar next door when you don't want to go further. Parking is free and outside your door, good for when you’re exploring.
Tahunanui Beach and the airport are a few minutes away, and the Abel Tasman, Golden Bay and the wineries are all a day or less.
For those riding the Great Taste or mountain bike trails, there’s secure bike storage with charging.

Set on a quiet no-exit street, Harbourside faces away from the road and overlooks Nelson Marina. 12 of our 15 rooms open directly to the water. Lots of couples stay with us.

Our Rooms
We have fifteen rooms. Studios for two, suites and apartments for up to four. What differs between them is the outlook, what level they are on and their outdoor space. Five are on the ground floor, most with direct access to the marina. Upstairs marina rooms have particularly expansive views across the boats to Nelson’s surrounding hills.
